I got this new 15 inch macbook pro... and I'm starting to think I made a very stupid mistake. I should've got sony vio instead ;/ madry is it because i need time to get used to it or is it because it just doesn't have enough shortcuts.... kil shay 6walah... even surfing the net is not fun anymore!
what do you think??? which one is better..mac or windows??????

You only have 3 reasons to use Mac OS SUCKS:
1) You need the multimedia and publishing software(s) under that OS
2) You want to be the "Oh! Look at me! I have Mac! I'm cooler than you!" type of person and then end up using Windows XP (Ya3ny yareet Vista :P) on that laptop (Well, I just described %99.387465938756394753456987E8374659 of Mac users in Kuwait
3) You like OS SUCKS and feel comfy using it
There's no other real reason to use Mac OS SUCKS... But hey, you might just need some time to get used to it and you'd probably like it.
OS SUCKS is an eye-candy OS which looks pretty and all while it doesn't differ much in functionality (As you described, not so shortcutted as Windows) and security.

but my friend tried the mac, she says at the beginning she was so frustrated and thought she did a huge mistake, but now she says she can't imagine getting any other laptop but mac.

i have recently switched to mac after 20 yrs of loyalty to pc , i must say i regret every second that i have spent worth pc. im enjoying my mac , though some or the program that you used to enjoy with pc dont work efficiently with mac because of imposed restriction made by pc . but i dont care.
i felt the same at the beginning but not any more.
enjoy your mac , if not im ready to upgrade from macbook to mac pro :)
dont forget you can run window on your mac but you will run the risk of contracting the same viruses and worms on windows.

وبالمناسبه تقدرين تحطين 2 سيستم على الماك
يعني تحطين ماك اند وندوز بجهاز واحد
فإذا تبين الوندوز تقدرين تستعملينه واذا تبين ماك ايضا موجود
بس يبيلها خبره شوي

I'm not a mac person, bas it's a powerful platform o 3adi you'll learn your way through.
here's my humble observation: half the mac users I know (kuwait o barra) don't know koo3hom men boo3hom bel PCs, fa kel ma yektashfon shay (which the PC already does/did 5 years ago), esawonha qessa like they just invented fire.. or the wheel.. or a WHEEL ON FIRE!
